Please be aware that some conditions will mean that clients cannot have certain treatments or may not be able to have a treatment that day. The therapist will suggest an alternative treatment. This will not be discounted.
All treatments provided by us will last for the specified duration purchased. This means that a 60-minute massage will last a full 60 minutes unless the client wishes to include extra consultation or discussion time within this.
All clients must complete a consultation form prior to their first treatment and will receive a free consultation for up to 15 minutes before this first treatment.
Treatments will only be conducted if we deem the treatment safe for the client to receive. GP/consultant permission may be required before treatments can be provided.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Clients may cancel or rearrange the appointment with up to 24 hours’ notice without charge.
If we have less than 24 hours’ notice for cancellation, we will retain the deposit. If a client wishes to rearrange with less than 24 hours’ notice, it may be possible to refund or transfer the original deposit.
We have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is deemed unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill.
We have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client appears to be ill or inebriated.
We commit to rearranging treatments to a new time and date within two weeks of the cancelled treatment, if possible.
PAYMENT:
Upon booking, clients will be given the option of paying a deposit or in full. If only paying the deposit, then the remainder will be payable at the time of the appointment. We can accept both card and cash payments.
REFER A FRIEND SCHEME:
If a new client is referred by another client and becomes a regular client (has a second treatment), the referring client will be sent a coupon offering 25% off their next treatment.
Note that only one coupon/discount can be used per treatment. Each coupon can only be used once. Coupons are transferrable to others if desired. The new client must have booked, paid for, and received their second treatment before the coupon is sent. There is no limit to the number of discount coupons clients can receive!
GIFT VOUCHERS:
After purchase of a gift voucher, a coupon code will be emailed to the purchaser, followed by the same code in a gift card. Multiple treatments may be purchased, if wished, up to the coupon’s value.
Coupons may be transferred and used by other people.
Coupons have no expiry date, unless Number 46 Callander has ceased trading.
For security purposes, any refunds on gift vouchers will be made to the card used to purchase the voucher.
MEDICAL CONCERNS:
All clients must inform us of any medical conditions, surgeries, allergies, and medication and consult a doctor if in doubt. If anything changes during the course of treatment, it is the client's responsibility to update the information we hold.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR:
We have the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or abusive behaviour.
Payment will be collected for the full treatment price, provided more than ten minutes have been spent massaging the client.
If the therapist is unable to collect money before leaving, an invoice will be sent to the client’s address.
All invoices must be paid within seven days of issue date.
PRIVACY:
Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
Consultations will only be discussed with the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
Consultation forms and treatment notes will be stored securely on file by us. Consultation forms are required prior to the first treatment.
By signing the consultation form, clients are giving Number 46 Callander permission to hold records and data about them. Personal information will not be shared with any third parties.
YOUNG CLIENTS:
Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult and client must both give permission for the treatment to be performed. The adult must co-sign the client’s consultation form and be present in the room throughout the treatment.
INSURANCE AND ETHICS:
Number 46 Callander abides by the Code of Conduct and Professional Practice provided by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). We are fully insured through Protectivity Insurance.
ALLERGENS AND REACTIONS:
It is the client's responsibility to inform us of all existing and potential allergies and medical conditions. In the unlikely event of an unforeseen reaction to a treatment, Number 46 Callander will not be held legally responsible.
